The park is used for many events from Family functions, Sporting Events, and even a Farmers Market. The City also puts on a Movie night and other yearly events.

The Parks Namesake


Les Tribble


Ross Leslie Tribble of Hallsville died Tuesday, April 13, 2010, at Heritage Hall Care Center in Centralia. He was 94. Les was born on April 16, 1915, in Hallsville, to Earl and Christina Finley Tribble. He graduated from Hallsville High School in 1933 and served as Hallsville postmaster for many years. He is survived by a good friend, Mary Lee Sebastian, sister-in-law Frances Tribble, niece Beverly Eichelberger and nephews Dell Goosey, Vaughn Tribble and David Tribble. He was preceded in death by his sister, Edna Earl Tribble Goosey, and brothers Victor Tribble and Hope Tribble.
