The journey begins in the front room through the door, as you walk into the restored 1830's log cabin, with displays of bygone eras. As you stroll into the the dining room you will find a set table, with all the trimmings of a family gathering, even some fresh food awaiting a hard working blacksmith in from a long day in the shop. Then you can stroll into the kitchen, a well prepared meal is awaiting to be made with all the variety of utensils for the job. Afterwards, come rest in the parlor, enjoy a song from Mrs. Morgenthaler and a painting from Charles' vast archives. Then you can climb the steps to the new (1910s) addition bedrooms and see the day to day living of the family. This home, has been well preserved, and invites all who come for a treat.
